BERTHING: | The commercial harbor has six alongside berths for oceangoing vessels.
The commercial pier located west of the north jetty has depths alongside of about 10 m., and can easily accommodate a frigate-sized vessel.
The port is protected by two breakwaters 1.440 m and 650 m long.
Port area is 331,600 sq.m.
Maneuvering area has 400 m. diameter, depths 8m. - 11m.
It also servers the still on-going Antalya Free Trade Zone.
A modern cold storage plant with a shocking warehouse of 10.000 tons capacity is existing. |
