Portland slugged cement (CEM II/B-S 42,5 R)
Portlad Slug Cement is produced by milling clinker, slug and a given amount of gypsum.
They are classified into two according to the amount of slug in them.
Type A includes %56-20 slug by weight and type B includes 21-35% slug by weight.
They are classified into six types according to their early strength periods within 28 days: PCC 32.5, PCC 32.5R, PCC 42.5, PCC 42.5R, PCC 52.5, PCC 52.5R.
This cement type is newly adopted from European standards.
Produced in compliance with TS EN 197-1 standards.
Areas of use include all kinds of concrete and high buildings, ground concretes, prefabricated concrete components, bridges, viaducts, water stores, concrete brickets, industrial work grounds contaminated with medium level sulfate, concrete sewage pipes, general-purpose construction works where a low hydration temperature is needed.
